Fenty Beauty Foundation Review

Ever since Fenty Beauty broke onto the beauty scene, I have been intrigued. The first reason being, it was a black owned beauty brand and the focus was on inclusion first and foremost. A lot of people seemed to be excited just because it was Rihanna but for me, I wanted to see something new and affordable and the good sis and her team have delivered time and time again.

For my most recent Fenty Beauty purchase, I tried out the Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation, Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer, Sun Stalk'R Instant Warmth Bronzer, Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner and Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Thicc.

My thoughts: I've got to say I love this concealer!!!! It truly does cover without being cakey looking. I like how natural it makes my skin look and how it looks effortless. Definitely an "everyday wear" type of concealer. Flyliner is my FAVORITE eyeliner right now due to how the pointy tip doesn't dry out. I have had issues in the past with other liners being pointy enough but the actual product being too dry on the tip resulting in harder application. Ain't nobody got time for that lol.

I like this hydrating foundation as well but there isn't much spectacular about it... it's a "skin like" finish to it though so that's great for daily use. I'm sure the bronzer will be a great as the weather gets worse and we enter into terrible behind winter but right now, it's just not aggressive enough for me... or maybe I'm just really into "kontour"-ing LOL instead of bronzing. I'm going to keep trying though. Maybe my mind will change as winter rears her ugly head. Bleh. And finally, I do like the texture of the Mattemoiselle lip stick but the color DEFINITELY needs a liner chile. I'd definitely be out here looking ashy by the lip otherwise and that ain't gon' work! Lol.
